With Pres. Donald Trump’s first 100 days beginning many including in the scientific community have positioned themselves in a wait and see attitude. It wasn’t long ago when the 45th Pres. Of United States Tweeted “Climate change is a “hoax invented by the Chinese. , But just in December he stated that “nobody really knows” whether climate change is real. Trump’s cabinet’s picks are known as climate doubters. And he’s also publicly vowed to “cancel” the Paris Climate agreement and roll back multiple Obama-era emissions regulations aimed at helping the nation meet its climate commitments.
Prof and co-Author Ross Salowitch of the newly released book the “Paris Climate Agreement: Beacon of Hope,” out this month says he remains cautious but Optimistic :.If you look at past Republican Presidents you can find amazing accomplishments.. – including Nixon founding the EPA, Reagan signing the Montreal Protocol that helped save the Ozone layer and George W Bush and the Clean Air Interstate Rule which allowed states to seek legal remedies again other states if they could scientifically prove that pollutants from state A to State B..
