Anne Peled, M.D., Sutter Health, California Pacific Medical Center (CPMC), is a board-certified plastic surgeon in San Francisco, who specializes in breast, reconstructive, and cosmetic surgery. She is uniquely qualified to counsel her patients as she herself was recently diagnosed with invasive breast cancer and received a lumpectomy, followed by three weeks of radiation. Dr. Peled is actively involved in clinical research and currently serves as the Principal Investigator on several research projects related to quality-of-life and surgical outcomes for breast cancer patients. When not caring for patients, Dr. Peled enjoys running, yoga, triathlon, hiking, and discovering Bay Area adventures with her husband and three children.

PREVENA™ Therapy uses negative pressure (like a vacuum) to help protect surgical incisions, and it really helped Dr. Peled’s healing and allowed her to get back to her pre-cancer life earlier than she expected.
